Our vision is to enable young people with autism to develop their full potential in adult life. By the time our students leave The Park College they’ll be confident and feel positive, be ready for working life and know how to keep themselves safe and healthy.
Our students will follow personalised study programmes that:
- Support the achievement of their goals in all areas of their life
- Provide appropriate, challenging and meaningful enterprise projects and community based work placements to increase employability skills
- Promote health and well-being and build confidence to meet the challenges of adult life
- Provide an individual study programme that ensures each student achieves accredited qualifications matched to their needs and interests
Students will develop work skills that support access to employment at the end of the course.
We offer structured training in vocational skills and teach job application and interview techniques.
Students will gain qualifications in functional English, Maths and ICT. Training courses will promote Health, Fitness and Leisure.
